Hello friends!

The sixth annual youth mission to St. Ann’s is off to a great start!

St. Ann’s in the South Bronx is an Episcopal Church committed transforming the community in Christ’s name. Providing needs such as food, clothing, and after school programming for those in need, St. Ann’s truly serves as a refuge and a safe haven in an area associated often associated with crime and poverty.

 

Each year, a group from St. John’s spends a week at St. Ann’s doing gardening and maintenance projects in the morning and running the after school program in the afternoon.  

This year, St. John’s sent an adult group for the first time. They built this shed earlier in June:
